What we brought:

Covid-19 Precautions?

  • The first time we came during the pandemic was on a Saturday afternoon. The parking lot was full, the orchard was crowded, the line for donuts was long, and only half of the guests were wearing their masks. We decided that we needed to come back on a different day. (You read that right, We drove to Oak Glen and immediately drove home.)
  • A couple of weeks later, we arrived at 9 a.m., and we felt very safe spending time at the orchard. All the employees and guests wore their masks, and we were able to social distance from each other.

Should you go?

It’s really important to know beforehand that Oak Glen, CA isn’t a mask-wearing town, and it gets packed on the weekends.¬† You need to be okay with that before you make the long drive up from LA or Orange County.¬† If you do go Snow-Line is a must stop. We suggest getting there when they open at 9:00am to avoid the massive crowds.
